For the last few months, I have been shopping around for a publication where I could write about my advocacy work and what I see happening in my neighborhood, city and state regarding the homeless epidemic. I put out some feelers, but nothing quite felt right until I saw the incredible reporting being done by The California Globe on this very topic.
And as of today, my very first article with them went live, where I interviewed business owners in my area about the effects this crisis has been having on their livelihood. As a life-long writer, I am so grateful to have this opportunity.
